Competitive holiday
The holiday season is upon is: and so are the games.
We’ve already kicked things off with Call of Duty: Black Ops IV, which, according to a Nielsen survey consisting of 6,000 users, is the most anticipated multiplatform game of the holiday season. Strangely with all of the love for its Battle Royale mode (that some are calling better than most Battle Royale games out there), it’s not hard to see why.
Overall Spider-Man took the crown with 100 (out of 100), the only PS4 exclusive to do so. Following Spider-Man, Call of Duty: Black Ops IV towers above the rest of the competition with an impressive 99 approval rating, which crushes the multiplatform competition and all other exclusives. It’s closely followed by Smash Ultimate and Super Mario Party with a 98: both Switch exclusives.
Next up is Red Dead Redemption 2, then Battlefield V, Fallout 76, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. After that we’re dipping into the 80s. As far as single platforms go, even though it’s not getting practically every single game in the multiplatform list, the Switch comes out on top with four most-wanted exclusives over the PS4 and Xbox One’s one each.
