New Spirit Blossom and Pool Party skins drop just in time for Season 2 League of Legends

One of the best skinlines you could hope for.

Riot Games has lifted the lid on what players can expect in Season 2 of League of Legends, as well as revealing that the popular Spirit Blossom skin line is getting some fresh faces, alongside a one-off Pool Party skin.

No date was given on when these new skins would appear, with Riot Games only mentioning that they would tie in with season two, which is Ionian-themed and brings with it a bunch of new gameplay changes from the Demacian season one players have gotten accustomed to these past months.

The new Spirit Blossom skins coming in season two include:

On top of these Spirit Blossom skins, summoners will additionally be able to get a Prestige Spirit Blossom skin for both Lux and Ivern through the Act 1 paid battle pass. Riot also teased that the next Exalted skin will be for Morgana. Additionally, Prestige skins will be available on the pass for Zed and in the Mythic Shop for Aphelios.

Riot had another trick up its sleeve though for this season, revealing that they plan to bring in a new type of skin known as “variety” skins. These are standalone skins that will either be additions to existing skin thematics or new thematics entirely. The first of these new skins will be introduced in Season 2, starting with Pool Party Twitch, which will be earnable on the Act 1 paid pass.

Pool Party Twitch feels like a weird skin to release as a standalone, especially with the upcoming summer and the chance to create a whole line of Pool Party skins around the corner. So, does Twitch’s reveal mean that Pool Party is only getting one skin this year? Time will tell.

Outside of the wave of Spirit Blossom skins and the Pool Party concept reveal, Riot keeps its cards close to its chest on what else it has planned to release over season two. But we should likely expect some type of reveal over the coming weeks as new patches are released.
