Gamescom 2024 unveiled an extended look into the upcoming Black Ops 6 campaign, showcasing a deep dive into the Most Wanted level playthrough.

In the Most Wanted quest, players target a senator at a political fundraiser as the team infiltrates a top-secret black site. The goal is to uncover the conspiracy surrounding the government, set in the early ’90s when the Cold War was coming to an end.

There are a few climatic battles throughout the trailer, with one of my favorites being an all-out fight in a kitchen. It gets even more brutal when the playable character dips someone’s head into some hot grease, making for a pretty unique elimination. Then, once you go deeper into the mission, things get more chaotic when it’s time to go into a secret base. The scroll wheel of different equipment is pretty nice to see, which will function similarly to the Killstreaks in Modern Warfare 3.

You’ll see a few familiar faces in the Gamescom Black Ops 6 trailer, including Russell Adler, the antagonist of Black Ops Cold War. He’ll once again be causing some mischief in Black Ops 6.

Now that you’ve seen an exclusive look into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s campaign, you can pre-order the game to access it early. The Early Access dates have already been set for Aug. 30 to Sept. 4, while Open Beta starts on Sept. 6 to Sept. 9.
