Batman: Assault on Arkham is a new animated Batman movie, and it’s tied to the Arkham Batman videogame series. The movie is direct by Jay Oliva, who also directed the animated The Dark Knight Returns and Justice League: War, plus some episodes of Young Justice.

The plot revolves around the Joker (voiced by Troy Baker) who somehow steals a dirty bomb and has it rigged to go off somewhere in Gotham City. Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy again) will have to team up with Amanda Waller and her Suicide Squad. In this case the team is made up with Deadshot, King Shark, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and Killer Frost.

Now the only question is if this is tied to that special ending of Batman: Arkham Origins? Or are we finally going to get that Suicide Squad game we were promised back in 2007?
