With pre-orders opening soon, here’s everything we know about the release date and all official platforms for NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K25 release date

Typically, a new NBA 2K game has released between September 8 and 10. This year, NBA 2K is slightly pushing the schedule by choosing September 6 as the release date. Hence, the community will be able to play the new release in the first week of September.

NBA 2K25 is going to be available in four different editions:

  • Standard ($59.99 on Nintendo Switch, $69.99 on rest)
  • All-Star ($99.99 on all platforms)
  • WNBA ($69.99, only available for Xbox Series XlS and PlayStation 5)
  • Hall of Fame ($149.99)

Standard will be cheapest one of the four, while the Hall of Fame is the more premium experience fans can enjoy.

NBA 2K25 platforms

There will be slight changes when it comes to platforms. First, here are all the listed platforms:

  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox Series XlS
  • PC
  • Nintendo Switch

Till NBA 2K24, PC players have bee able to experience the old-gen version. Finally, PC players will be able to enjoy the same features available to users on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. This includes the popular ProPLAY feature which was introduced last year. It’s highly likely that 2K and Visual Concepts could make more tweaks in this year’s release.

This will be a delightful news for all the PC users who have been requesting for next-gen features since last two years. The introduction of ProPLAY could finally help NBA 2K25 gain some positive traction for NBA 2K from PC users.
