Once again, NBA 2K will be providing plenty of freebies for players as part of the Season 8 Pass, and there are a lot of things to grind. The release date of the new season has also been revealed, letting players better plan for the upcoming grind.

NBA 2K24 Season 8 release date

Season 8 will go live on Friday, June 28. The date will be the same for both PC and console users, and the new content will be available at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET, marking the release of both free and premium pass.

NBA 2K24 Season 8 MyCareer rewards

The new season will offer plenty of rewards in the MyCareer mode. Most of the rewards are themed around the USA Men’s and Women’s basketball teams, who will be vying for Gold at the Olympics. Here are all the featured rewards that can be unlocked from the pass.

NBA 2K24 Season 8 MyTeam mode

As usual, MyTeam mode players will have plenty of unique cards to unlock and improve their squads. Here are some of the featured rewards that can be obtained from the pass.

  • Level 20 Dark Matter Rashard Lewis

Buyers of the Pro Pass will also get a G.O.A.T Derrick Rose and a 90-rated Amethyst Derrick Rose in NBA 2K25 when the game goes live later this year. The Pro Pass has an extra forty levels of cosmetic rewards to unlock for those who choose to upgrade.
