Also a compendium book and a mini backpack
Zelda: Skyward Sword HD came out recently, and Nintendo isn’t letting you forget about it just yet. This week they debuted a new contest, which has a Link and Loftwing statue in the mix, as well as a few other goodies.
As is the case with most of their recent giveaways, the entire shebang is linked to My Nintendo. You can opt for up to three entries, clocking in at 10 Platinum Points each. Prizes include the aforementioned Link and Loftwing statue, as well as the Hyrule Historia compendium, and a Marks of the Goddesses mini backpack, designed by Danielle Nicole. The contest closes on October 19 at 2AM ET.
It’s smart of Nintendo to double down on the Loftwing, as it’s one of the most recognizable elements of the game (and unlike Fi, is pretty much universally beloved). It’s also great that the stuff on offer is all third party and quality made, with the Loftwing statue coming from First 4 Figures, and Hyrule Historia from Dark Horse Books.
Cleverly, Historia lines up with Skyward Sword, as it has a large focus on the game given that it was new at the time of publication. Folks who are just discovering the HD edition should have fun becoming absorbed into the world all over again.
As a reminder, you can find our full Platinum Point guide here. Bookmark it for when you need quick points for a reward! 30 points should be incredibly easy to get, as that’s basically just 15 minutes withĀ Super Mario Run, or a quick sign on to the 3DS or Wii U 3Shop. You do…still have those right?!
