Season 4 Week 5’s Weekly Challenges will get your hands dirty with its Melee-based requirements. But it’s all worth it to get the new weapon, the deadly Sledgehammer. This powerful tool, with its 20-pound carbon steel head, can unleash a devastating attack. If you’re up for the task, here are all the MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Week 5 challenges.

All MW3 Season 4 Week 5 challenges

Almost all of Modern Warfare 3’s Season 4 Week 5 challenges require close-quarters-combat. That means you’ll have to rely more on the strength of your hands rather than weaponry. To succeed, consider using stealth to get close to your enemies or using the environment to your advantage.

Get two Operator Fury Kills with a Recommended WeaponA Fury Kill requires eliminating four opponents or more in a measly few seconds. You may want to use weapons with higher rounds, like LMGs and Assault Rifles. Or, equip attachments to increase it further. Any Recommended Weapon 10,000 XP

All MW3 Zombies Season 4 Week 5 challenges

Adding to the challenge, MW3 Zombies will also join the melee combat tasks. The enemies, especially those with formidable armor, will be tougher to defeat here. But fear not; you can use the Low Threat Zone to make it more accessible.

Get 250 1 Shot 1 Kill with a Pack-a-Punched Recommended Shotgun Wielding a shotgun can be pretty difficult in MW3 Zombies due to the endless hordes. Best to do this task in the Low Threat Zone, taking them down easily with Pack-a-Punch. Reclaimer 18 or Riveter5,000 XP
Perform five Finishing Moves on MercsHead over to Merc Camps or Strongholds and try to sneak up behind an enemy here. Then, hit the melee button to perform the move. N/A7,500 XP
Get 10 Kills without being hit 20 times with a Recommended Melee WeaponYou can basically think of this objective as a Clean Kill, where you don’t take any damage. Karambit or Gladiator (Sledgehammer also available if you’ve already completed five challenges)7,500 XP
Get five Rapid Kills 30 times with a Recommended Assault RifleGet two or three kills in a few seconds; it should be easy to do with the large zombie hordes. Bal-27, MTZ-556, Holger 556, M4, Kastov 762, M16, or Kastov 54510,000 XP

All Warzone Season 4 Week 5 challenges

Warzone’s Season 4 Week 5 challenges have stepped away from the Urzikstan map. This time, we must head to Fortune’s Keep, taking down enemies in specific locations.

Complete any five challenges above in MW3, Zombies, and Warzone to earn the Sledgehammer Melee weapon. It holds a 20-pound carbon steel head, unleashing a brutal attack on anyone who stands in your way. Like most Melee tools, it excels in Damage, Mobility, and Handling stats, making it a formidable weapon in close-quarters combat.

The Sledgehammer also comes with multiple moves, such as an overhead, pole butt, and basic swing attack. Once you’ve unlocked this weapon, you can participate in Sledgehammer-specific challenges to earn the new Dubs Dubs Dubs weapon camo.
