MW3 and Warzone Season 3 April 23 changes

The MW3Ā Ranked Play Weapon Evaluation test has officially concluded, and it’s brought some notable changes. Various weapon restrictions have been reintroduced, leading to the removal of certain Assault Rifles and SMGs from this patch. The following weapons are no longer a part of the current Ranked Play:

  • BP50
  • Holger 556
  • MTZ-556
  • WSP Swarm
  • HRM-9
  • RAM-9

More information regarding anĀ MW3Ā Ranked Play update will be disclosed after Season 3 Reloaded. Activision and Sledgehammer Games have also taken steps to ensure a more balanced gameplay experience by revamping maps like 6 Star, Growhouse, and Tanked. The patch helps reduce the usage of exploitable locations that users have taken advantage of. This commitment to fairness ensures a level playing field for all players inĀ MW3Ā Multiplayer.Ā

WarzoneĀ received few updates for the April 23 patch; however, some key issues were addressed. Fixes were made for gas mask animations, UAVS, and Rebirth Island’s exploitable areas.Ā

Although most patches have included weapon adjustments in the past, this update does not include gun alternations. Nerfs and buffs will likely be placed for the mid-season, where some players have called to nerf the overpowerful HRM-9 and RAM-7. We’ll just have to see if theĀ MW3Ā andĀ WarzoneĀ meta changes with Season 3 Reloaded. But, for now, these weapons’ stats and performance remain the same.Ā
