Mortal Kombat XL PC beta going on right now

Ed Boon had a lot of Mortal Kombat fans in a frenzy with this morning’s tweet of a possible PC launch for Mortal Kombat XL. Now, out of nowhere, an open beta for the game’s multiplayer has launched on Steam. To download the beta, just navigate over to Mortal Kombat X‘s Steam page and a link is provided with all the pertinent details.

The beta will be running all weekend until August 29 at 10:00am PDT. Hopefully everything works well with this new version; I don’t think WB Games can afford to anger the PC crowd anymore.
