Dreamcast 2 my ASS! Looks like Peter Moore and company have steered this ship right afterall. According to recent estimates, the 360 is doing just fine and now Moore is telling Bloomberg that they could reach the promised 10-million mark by Christmas.
Microsoft Corp., competing with new machines from Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co., may exceed its forecast to sell 10 million Xbox 360 video-game consoles by the end of the year, Vice President Peter Moore said.
Asked whether Microsoft is likely to beat the outlook, Moore replied “Yes. All indications are that we came off a very strong Thanksgiving holiday.” Moore, in an interview today, declined to provide a new forecast.
With a reasonable price point and a plethora of good games, how could you possibly think of passing up the 360 this holiday season? Looks like, so far, that Wii60 really is the early choice.
