Monopoly GO’s Greek Treasures dig event has officially begun, lasting from July 26 until July 30. Throughout the next four days, you’ll complete 20 levels, each giving you dice and cash rewards. However, finishing the Greek Treasures event requires collecting hundreds of pickaxes to break each artifact square.

How to get more Greek Treasures pickaxes in Monopoly GO

Monopoly GO’s Greek Treasures event offers three ways to get free pickaxes:

• Banner events and tournaments
• Daily quick wins
• Redeem free shop gifts

Events and tournaments are by far the best way to get pickaxes, especially if you have enough dice to fly through each reward tier. Nonetheless, if you need a few extra pickaxes to get to the next level, redeeming shop gifts and completing your daily quick wins can help.

Banner events and tournaments

Banner events like Prize Relay and tournaments are the best sources of pickaxes in Monopoly GO. They give you hundreds of pickaxes over their duration, making them a reliable source even if you don’t complete every tier.

Daily quick wins

The next way to get pickaxes is by completing your daily quick-win objectives. Each quick win task gives you three to four pickaxes, allowing you to get around a dozen daily. If you finish every quick during Greek Treasures’ duration, you’ll get around 48 pickaxes, often enough to get you through several artifact levels.

Free shop gifts

The last way to get free pickaxes is through free shop gifts. You can redeem it every eight hours to get three pickaxes. Although this doesn’t give many pickaxes, the few you get can advance you through the last few squares of a level for extra rewards.

Are there any free pickaxe links in Monopoly GO?

Scopely usually doesn’t give out pickaxes through free reward links. Unlike free dice links regularly released daily, pickaxes don’t typically appear. If you want more pickaxes, you must rely on the above strategies.
