Digitial Eclipse unveiled the next game in the Hasbro Retro Arcade as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind and it looks like a ton of fun. Coming in late 2024, Rita’s Rewind is an all-new adventure with an original Power Rangers storyline that mixes franchise lore with retro gameplay.
In Rita’s Rewind, players face off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long time nemesis. Robo-Rita conjures a portal to send herself back in time to stop the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Together, Robo-Rita and Rita Repulsa will rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in attempt to stop the Power Rangers once and for all.
It looks like classic arcadey Power Rangers beat-em-up and I’m all for it.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Late 2024.
