Microsoft has reached out to Destructoid to expand a bit on its backward compatibility plans, and it’s looking like good news.

Firstly, it has confirmed that instead of having a monthly drop like before, it’ll release titles “when they become available,” as of today. Microsoft also provided a newly confirmed list, which you can view below.

Said list includes The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, which just happens to be free on Xbox Live today. Also, a lot of these bring back (good) memories, like Aegis Wing. Man backward compatibility is a great thing.

  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Aegis Wing
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Age of Booty
  • Space Giraffe
  • Soulcalibur
  • Skullgirls
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Small Arms
