Nintendo has revealed another arrangement from the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time the new song covers the classic “Fortress Boss” theme from the legendary Super Mario Bros. 3. Furthermore, new songs being revealed on Tuesdays is still the only consistent reveal pattern the game has had since its initial announcement.

This new arrangement is supervised by Akihiro Honda, a regular contributor to the Metal Gear franchise throughout the years. You can check out the new tune below.

Akihiro Honda has been a regular at Konami, consistently contributing to the Metal Gear Solid series, all the way back to Sons of Liberty . However, his first known work at the company was contributing to the soundtrack and sound effects for Zone of the Enders. He would go on to assist with its sequel, as well as Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.

This also isn’t his first time contributing to the Super Smash Bros. series. Akihiro was responsible for an arrangement for Metal Gear when it last appeared in Brawl. Specifically, as the game lists it, “MGS4 ~Theme of Love~ Smash Bros. Brawl Version.”

Incidentally, It’s crazy to think that both Metal Gear Solid 4 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl have turned ten years old this year. Oh, how time flies.
