Rock Paper Shotgun brings word of Hide, a short lo-fi horror game with a striking visual style. The aim is to wonder through a snowy forest to reach five different locations and read their plaques while being hunted by unknown enemies. Similar to Amnesia: The Dark Descent there’s no way to physically fight back against your pursuers, so your only form of defense is simply to run and hide.

It was made for the Super Friendship Club’s Justice Pageant, a month-long game making challenge based on a single theme. While short on content the maker Adam Shouldice has done a great job at using an arguably scrappy aesthetic to create a convincing and threatening atmosphere. If the style is enough to pique your interest, then be sure to give it a go.
