Life on the Switch won’t be too strange until later in 2022
The previously delayedĀ Life is Strange: Remastered CollectionĀ is going live soon, but one platform will be taking some extra time. In a new announcement, theĀ Life is StrangeĀ team confirms that the Switch version of theĀ Remastered CollectionĀ will launch later in 2022.
TheĀ Life is StrangeĀ collection, which includes remasters of the firstĀ Life is StrangeĀ and its prequelĀ Before the Storm, will still launch on Feb. 1 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia. The development team also says there’s some more planned to show off before the launch date too, including an extended look at the collection on Jan. 25.

Nintendo confirmed that Switch versions of Life is Strange: Remastered CollectionĀ andĀ True ColorsĀ were on the way at last year’s E3 Direct. And whileĀ True ColorsĀ is available on the Switch right now, looks likeĀ Life is StrangeĀ fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to take the adventures of Chloe and Max on the go. The team says it will need “a bit more time” until the Switch versions of theĀ earlierĀ Life is StrangeĀ games are ready.
Life is Strange: Remastered CollectionĀ is still due out on Feb. 1 for other platforms however. It will head back to the first game and its prequel, following the time-bending powers of Max Caulfield, who finds herself tangled up in mystery and impending disaster.Ā Before the StormĀ was also developed by Deck Nine, the studio that’s gone on to makeĀ last year’s excellentĀ Life is Strange: True Colors.
Though these versions will take a little extra time, that hopefully means the Switch versions will arrive in a solid state. And here’s a few fingers crossed for an eventual Life is Strange 2Ā port, too.
