Yeah, so I get it, we talk about Lady Gaga a lot on Destructoid. What can we say? We’re fans.

But at least now we’re warranted. Four of her tracks are hitting the Rock Band store this week, and now this — her latest video for her single “Telephone” features a direct reference to Electronic Arts’ Command and Conquer games.

Trying to explain to you what’s going on in the video would be futile — it must be seen to be believed, and it should noted that it’s not safe for work. Long story short, Lady Gaga and Beyonce poison Tyrese Gibson with a homemade concoction which includes “Tiberium,” the rare mineral that stands as a central plot point of Command and Conquer franchise.

Pretty neat, right? It was spotted by MTV who notes that the video is littered with pop culture references (another ingredient in the poison is “meta-cyanide,” made famous by David Lynch’s Dune, for instance). As if you need a reason to watch the video again.

And if you haven’t already seen it, it’s after the jump. Again, not safe for work.
