Too soon?

In Japan, Kingdom Hearts 3D launched to great first week success, but it looks like it may not have the staying power the series once had. Numbers wise, KH3D sold 213,579 copies the first week, but only 42,231 units in week two. While the lack of 3DS systems may be partly to blame for this drop-off, one can only hope the game will have longer legs in the West, where we generally have higher Kingdom Hearts sales, obviously due to the familiarity with Disney’s characters. I mean, what do the Japanese know about The Dude?

Inversely, maybe people just want Kingdom Hearts III? Just a thought, Square!
