Remember when we said that Roblox is everywhere? Yeah, that includes Keeping Up with the Kardashians, too. Player-made games are a huge part of Roblox, but unfortunately they don’t always have the most child-friendly content on the world’s most popular game for kids. On the latest episode of the Kardashians’ reality show, Kim’s six-year-old son Saint West was scrolling through Roblox when he found a game featuring his mom’s “cry face” as clickbait, as well as a claim that it featured unseen footage of a sex tape that she was in.

After Saint showed his mom, she became understandably upset, saying that she has “all the time, all the money, and all the resources to burn them all to the fucking ground.” I get that the momma bear instincts are kicking in here, but this statement makes it clear that Kim Kardashian doesn’t know quite how big Roblox is, something other parents can relate to. Conversations about keeping a closer eye on Roblox content have been picking up for months now, because while the team behind the behemoth of a game is doing their best to keep the content age-appropriate, it’s gotten so big that things can easily slip through the cracks.

Kim Kardashian wanted to sue the Roblox Corporation, but the company has since made a statement refuting that a sex tape ever existed in the first place:

“The referenced video was never available on our platform. We have strict moderation and policies to protect our community, including zero tolerance for sexual content of any kind which violates our community rules. The text reference to the tape that got around our filters was quickly taken down and fortunately visible only to an extremely small number of people on the platform. We also swiftly took down the associated experience and banned the community developer involved with the incident.”

Look, I know the Kardashians can be, uh, polarizing figures, but regardless of how you feel about them, it’s still upsetting to see a little kid find something about his mom like that online. I personally don’t think the issue is ever going to court, but I do hope the mainstream media attention this incident is placing on Roblox continues to highlight stricter regulations of children’s content as more and more of our lives move online.
