A new teaser website has dropped tantalising clues about Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski’s upcoming game.

A new mini-website at Nexon.net, called The Shattering, offers a brief glimpse of a coastal city in ruins, the rubble still aflame, and a countdown clock set to finish sometime on Wednesday.

There are also statements requesting that we “brace [ourselves]” for mini-reveals coming at 12pm Eastern Monday-Wednesday this week. 

“Over the next few days, there’s going to be a lot of ‘information’ revealed about The Shattering and we want you to weigh in, react, participate and help us build a community from scratch,” writes community manager Rohan Rivas. 

That said, Bleszinski denies that The Shattering is the game’s title, so exactly what The Shattering is, I don’t even know. What do you think it might be?
