What to do at Gut Check Rock in Tears of the Kingdom?

There are a few activities at Gut Check Rock, though none of them are as exciting as the Gut Check Challenge of Tears of the Kingdom‘s predecessor. Firstly, near Gut Check Rock, there is a Hudson Construction sign that needs to be kept upright. The coordinates are: 2647, 3445, 0365.

Mineral deposits pepper Gut Check Rock. Use a weapon fused to a rock (or just a Cobble Crusher) to break the mineral deposits and claim the Amber they hold. This can be used to fuse with weapons, upgrade armor, or sell for Rupees.

There is also a hidden Korok. To find it, climb to the tall stone pillar at the center of Gut Check Rock. There you’ll find another rock that Link should climb. At the top, there is an arrow pointing Link to yet another rock. Glide there to locate the Korok and claim its Korok Seed. While you’re at the top of the stone pillar, run to the center and use Ultrahand to unearth the half-buried treasure chest. There are 100 Rupees inside waiting for you.

If you’re in the mood for some action, there is a Stone Talus at the following coordinates: 2688, 3290, 0239. Defeat it to score plenty of Amber along with a Luminous Stone Talus Heart. Lastly, dive into the waters surrounding Gut Check Rock. By dipping into the springs, Link’s health will be restored for free.

That’s it as far as Gut Check Rock activities go in Tears of the Kingdom. While it may have been an important place in Breath of the Wild, it doesn’t have much importance in the latest title. Nevertheless, if you want to relax in some hot waters or need to mine some Amber, Gut Check Rock is worth visiting.
