Is Payday 3 crossplay?

PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S thieves causing crime together

Payday 3Ā crossplay would allow you to work on heists with your friends across all platforms. Most multiplayer games in 2023 support the feature, so it would make sense. It would be a neat change as the last game doesn’t support it. Here’s everything we know aboutĀ PaydayĀ 3 crossplay.

Does Payday 3 support crossplay?

Payday 3Ā crossplay is officially supported by the developer.

You can play the game with your friends on Xbox Series X or S and PC if you have a PS5 copy ofĀ Payday 3. “You will also be able to avail of cross-progression, so you can heist from your preferred platform at any time,” says the official Q&A from developer Starbreeze Entertainment.

How to gain early access toĀ Payday 3

If you want to playĀ Payday 3Ā with your friends early, however, you’ll need to buy a special edition. Both the Silver Edition and Gold Edition includes access to this multiplayer title three days early. You’ll gain a few special cosmetics like the Statue of Liberty-inspired Skull of Liberty mask with the Gold Edition.

Payday 3Ā on PC might be tough to run, depending on your budget. The system requirements aren’t too taxing for many though. The minimum specs are:

  • OS:Ā Windows 10
  • Processor:Ā Intel Core i5-9400F
  • Memory:Ā 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics:Ā Nvidia GTX 1650 (4 GB)

The recommended specs are:

  • OS:Ā Windows 10
  • Processor:Ā Intel Core i7-9700K
  • Memory:Ā 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics:Ā Nvidia GTX 1080 (8GB)

It might become costly, so it’s a relief that you can check out the game with your PC friends on a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately,Ā Payday 3Ā isn’t free-to-play.
