Is Palworld multiplayer? – Full breakdown of how multiplayer works

Will you be playing alone?

A deep Palworld multiplayer system could help this Pokemon-like game “be the very best like no game ever was.” Will this game take on this real test for monster-catching supremacy?

Can you play Palworld multiplayer?

You can indeed play the game with up to three other friends. Servers also support up to 32 players at the same time. As this is Early Access, however, PvP will be added in a future update. “The maximum number of players playable on the same server will also be increased in a future update,” says the game’s official Steam page.

You’ll be exploring the world with up to three friends, battling them, and trading your monsters called Pals as well.

What can you do with friends in this game?

You’ll be able to fight and scour in this strange world with Pokemon-like creatures and guns. Additionally, there’s farming to be had as you water and harvest crops.

You’ll build structures with your friends as well. Collecting rare Pals around the world can offer up substantial money as you sell them (or even eat them). Pals are used as workers within factories too. This world is certainly much darker than the Pokemon universe, despite its cute appearance.

If you want to play this game with friends on day one of Early Access, however, you’ll need a beefy PC. It requires 16GB of RAM for the minimum specs and 32 GB of RAM for the recommended setup. Additionally, you’ll need at least a GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB to run Palworld properly. Palworld won’t be free-to-play either, but it will be on Game Pass.
