An FC 24Ā free-to-play option would be exceptional for fans who want to try the game before buying. It also makes sense as there are a lot of microtransactions in the beloved Ultimate Team mode. However, EA would miss out on the $69.99 price tag if FC 24 transitioned to this model. Here’s everything you need to know aboutĀ anĀ FC 24Ā free-to-play option.

Is there a FC 24 free-to-play model?

While anĀ FC 24 free-to-play version would be fantastic, EA currently has no plans for an option like this. I understand why you’d think this, however.Ā FC 24‘s main rival, eFootball 2023Ā (otherwise known as Pro Evolution Soccer), went the free-to-play route. In that game, eFootball Coins let you sign players and get Match Passes for your team. The response to the title was very negative. It currently holds a 36% rating from Steam’s user reviews.

Is FC 24 on any subscription services?

Currently,Ā FC 24Ā is not announced for Xbox Game Pass like its predecessorĀ FIFA 23. However, you likely can check out the game on EA Play Pro. Like other EA games of the past, FC 24Ā will most likely be available on day one for the service. This is only available on EA’s PC client. It costs $14.99 a month or $99.99 for a whole year.

If you can’t afford EA Play Pro, you can also check out its regular EA Play service. While you won’t get instant access to FC 24Ā when it releases on September 28, there will likely be a 10-hour trial for this “beautiful game.”Ā  EA Play is available on consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC.

If you’d like to just purchase the game, there are a bunch of bonuses offered for the Ultimate Edition, including seven days of early access.
