Many EA FC 24 players have wondered if the Festival of Football celebrations will introduce the Copa America 2024 as a separate game mode.
The question is not unjust, as EA Sports has introduced a dedicated Euro 2024 mode with plenty of content. This includes all participating nations along with the authentic squads, and players can choose between a host of different matches. However, fans of Copa America might not have such luck this year.
Will EA FC 24 get Copa America 2024?
As things stand, Copa America 2024 is not expected to arrive in EA FC 24.
If a new mode is set to be introduced in the game, EA Sports officially announces the information. There has been no official news or leaks suggesting the arrival of a separate Copa America 2024 mode in EA FC 24. EA Sports had already mentioned that there will be a dedicated UEFA Euro 2024 mode, which was released earlier on June 6.
Certain tournaments are already present in the game, which were introduced at launch. This includes men’s and women’s football, but the premier South American tournament isn’t among them.
Things could change in the future if EA Sports manages to acquire the IP for the tournament. As of now, fans will have to be satisfied with the Euro 2024 mode. However, if you’re a fan of Ultimate Team, there’s some footprint of the South American champions.
Season 7 Festival of Football has begun, and it includes a host of new milestone rewards. Some of these rewards include promo cards representing Copa America 2024. You can unlock all these items for free by completing various objectives that are life in Ultimate Team (more will be made available in the future).
The upcoming Festival of Football promo is very likely to introduce cards from Copa America in packs as well. Few leaks have suggested that big names like Ronaldo Araujo are set to get special Path to Glory cards, all of which will be upgradeable.
Hence, the only presence of the South American tournament in EA FC 24 is in the form of the various promo cards that will be part of the Ultimate Team.
