How to enable co-op in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

You’ll be able to use co-op after you’ve completed The Aranahe Clan quest. It can be completed in the first hour or so of the game, so you won’t have to wait too long to start playing with a buddy. Your partner will need their own copy of the game, and they’ll also have to reach The Aranahe Clan quest.

Once you’ve achieved this, press the pause button and press left on the d-pad to bring up the Systems menu. Here, you’ll find the Co-Op option which you should select. In the Friends Online section, find the friend you want to play with, then select “Invite to Group.”

Once your pal accepts your invitation, you’ll appear in the same world. Couch co-op is unfortunately not available, and you’ll only be able to utilize multiplayer online.

How multiplayer works in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

In co-op, one player is the host while the other is the guest. It is the host whose progress will be tracked. Both players will benefit from the gameplay session, however, and the guest will get to keep all collectibles, weapons, and gear they acquire. Fortunately, the game supports cross-platform co-op, so you can play with your friends even if you’re on different platforms.

There will be times you want a partner to help in Frontiers of Pandora, as it can be a dangerous place with vicious creatures and trigger-happy RDA members. If you don’t have any buddies around, work on your combat skills to ensure you’re already ready to take on the challenges you encounter.
