GeneralĀ Immortals of AveumĀ tips

Immortals of AveumĀ has all manner of ways to upgrade your character’s spells and attributes.

The first is the Talents system. When you level up, you’ll gain Ascension points that can be attributed to the different magicks at your disposal. While they can strengthen your attacks, these ascension trees also power up additional spells. For example, the Blue Magic section can increase your Shield’s health by 20% early on. This defensive spell can take on powerful attacks like a dragon’s breath during battle. The Red Magic partition, however, can help increase your armor and lets your melee attacks break through enemy shields.

Make sure to check through every Ascension tree as you level up. If you want to reset the talents and gain new abilities, you can spend 10,000 Gold and perform this action. Look to the bottom left for the button prompt and hold it down.

If you want Jak to get stronger, head over to the Forge. It appears at every colony or base you visit. It’s glowing in yellow. Open up the map and then you’ll see the Forge represented by an axe emblem. Head over there, and you can upgrade or craft your weapons and accessories. If you’re running low on resources, you can deconstruct what you don’t use. You’ll get gold and essence for your trouble. Another thing to note is that there are three different varieties of gun for each element. For example, with red element equipment, the Burstfire acts more like a grenade launcher than the shotgun-like Fragfire.

How to improve your gameplay

When you first startĀ Immortals of AveumĀ on a PS5 or Xbox system, the sensitivity will be way too low.

While it’s a matter of taste, it feels awkward to control. Head over to the “Gameplay” section of the pause menu and up your Horizontal and Vertical Sensitivity options. You’ll thank me later. I personally have it at 1.25 for Horizontal Sensitvity and 1.45 for Vertical Sensitvity. Keep changing it until the game feels right. You can also alter your Difficulty Level at this menu, but keep in mind that you’ll lose potential trophies if you lower it.

Something that I’ve done many times inĀ Immortals of Aveum is forget I have special attacks. One of the bestĀ Immortals of Aveum tips is to use your furies often. Blastwave sends out a powerful blast of magic around you, clearing out an annoying wave of foes. Shatter can also deal with foes behind a pesky enemy shield easily. You’ll get mana crystals quickly around the level, so don’t be afraid to use your fury spells when the action gets tense.

Additionally, don’t forget about the shield. Whenever a powerful attack is heading your way, feel free to block it with your shield. Just like the furies, don’t forget about this feature and activate your shield often to reduce damage.

If you ever feel lost on what your spells do inĀ Immortals of Aveum,Ā pause the game and look at the Spells tab next to the Journal.

Explore, explore, explore

Don’t always follow that annoying white spot in the UI. Go off the beaten path, and you’ll find some extra treasure along the way. The game isn’t open-world, but it does reward you for out-of-the-box exploration. In one of the early levels, you’re tasked with finding three switches to reveal a treasure chest. This type of puzzle is fairly easy to complete if you have a keen eye. Just activate them by shooting them with the correct color-coded weapon.

If you follow these beginnerĀ Immortals of AveumĀ tips, you should be able to succeed in your journey against evil.
