It might not be real, but The Pixel Kingdom has shared their vision of what Rocket League would be like if it took place in the Mushroom Kingdom. And you know what? I can dig it.

Lightning power-ups, items that morph the size of the ball, and bananas? Since there’s no Wii u edition of the game yet, I can easily see a partnership involving Psyonix and Nintendo for the upcoming NX. Then again, that’s what a lot of people thought out of the gate with the Wii U when it was “a sure thing,” so we’ll see.
