I hope they never stop making Earth Defense Force

New EDF5 footage has me ready to deploy

So long as Sandlot keeps making Earth Defense Force games, I’ll keep showing up to play them.

On the UFO-filled horizon we’ve got Earth Defense Force 5, which is set to bring endless giant insects, towering kaiju, and new “human-looking aliens” to PlayStation 4 later this year in the West.

This ridiculous on-brand trailer is just what I needed to close out my week.

I cannot and will not get over the giant frog men. They’re too good. The EDF series rehashes a lot of content, but new elements like that help offset repetition and I still inherently enjoy the grind.
