Videogame accessory maker Hyperkin must not like its customers very much. Why else would it design a controller that looks like it could shred the skin on your palms like grated Parmesan?

This September, Hyperkin is releasing a line of PC / Mac controllers that resemble SNES gamepads, only in retro-tastic pixelated form. There are the US and Europe / Japan color schemes, of course, but then there are others like the Hulk green number complete with purple shoulder buttons.

Even though these look like something the Mooninites from Aqua Teen would use, I admit that they are definitely striking. I probably wouldn’t actually use one because I’m having flashbacks to my old Mario Party N64 analog stick injury.
