Alongside Perk-a-Cola cans and Equipment, the Arsenal Machine marks a return after Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It will allow you to unlock Ammo Mods that will give your weapons elemental abilities to deal further damage.

How to use Arsenal Machine in Black Ops 6

To use the Arsenal Machine in Zombies mode, you must spend Salvage. You can go on a killing spree as the hordes of walking dead will drop Salvage upon dying as ground loot.

At launch, you can unlock five Ammo Mods in total. Below you can find a list of all including their effects:

  • Brain Rot: Bullets deal toxic damage. Each bullet has the chance to turn a Normal or Special enemy into an ally.
  • Cryo Freeze: Bullets deal frost damage. Each bullet has a chance to slow Normal or Special enemies.
  • Dead Wire: Bullets deal electrical damage. Each bullet has a chance to stun any Normal and Special enemy, generating a field that deals electric damage to nearby enemies.
  • Napalm Burst: Bullets deal fire damage. Each bullet has a chance to ignite Normal and Special enemies.
  • Shadow Rift: Bullets deal shadow damage. Each bullet has a chance to spawn a black hole if striking Normal or Special enemies, warping nearby zombies away, and dropping some from the air at high speed.

Shadow Rift is the new elemental power that Activision says is “geared towards controlling dense crowds of the undead” and will allow you to teleport zombies to the sky.

Right now, it’s still unclear whether the machine will be fixated or appear in different locations in matches. Once Treyarch announces something officially, we will update this section.

How many Ammo Mods can you apply on a weapon?

You can apply only one Ammo Mod to a weapon at a time. However, you can always purchase a new one as per needs. This was confirmed by Activision on their official blog post.
