How to find the Monsters Inc. Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To unlock the Monsters Inc. Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must visit Dream Castle, ascend the grand staircase to the third floor, and find the night-thorn-covered door hiding a purple ‘M’ symbol. Once you approach the night thorns, pay its 15,000 Dreamlight price and confirm your selection with Merlin to open the door and enter the realm.

The exact location of this door is on the third floor, next to the Beauty and the Beast Realm entrance. The easiest way to find it is to enter Dream Castle and run up the left staircase until you spot it on your right. If you’re low on Dreamlight and need to farm more to unlock the door, complete your Dreamlight duties to gain more quickly before opening the realm door.

How to open the door to the Laugh Room in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon unlocking the Monsters Inc. Realm door, you’ll immediately start Sulley’s Escape Claws quest, prompting you to enter the Laugh Floor room. Immediately, you’ll encounter a cutscene introducing Sulley and Mike Wazowski before spawning in a room and determining how to reach them.

Once you examine the door, you’ll see an access denied message, prompting you to search for a monster disguise. Head back toward the way you came and open the storage to find a Lost and Found Monster Wear bag, which will give you monster outfits upon opening it. Wear these to unlock access to the Laugh Floor room and find both monsters, allowing you to progress through the Monsters Inc. Realm.
