How to unlock Sally in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Reunited at last

As part of the Sew Delightful update to Disney Dreamlight Valley on December 4, Jack is finally reunited with Sally, his frayed-around-the-edges beau. Here’s how to unlock her, and the steps you’ll need to take to place her house in your Valley.

Sally was first teased as a new addition to the Valley back in August, when the Gameloft dev team shared a roadmap of upcoming content for the latter half of 2024. It’s hard to figure out why she wasn’t included as part of the Halloween festivities, but she’s finally coming.

Before you can unlock Sally, you’ll need to check off a few things, which can also be found by checking your in-game mailbox:

  • Unlock Jack, Mirabel, and Vanellope.
  • Complete Mirabel’s first quest
  • Complete Merlin’s “Odds & Ends” quest

With all of this done, you’ll be able to start the process of unlocking Sally herself. It’s a mostly straightforward process involving hunting around the Valley for spiderwebs and removing them.

After removing each round of spiderwebs, you’ll need to talk to Jack, so it’s a good idea to have him accompany you while you go on your spider eradication spree.

The first of the spiderwebs can be found inside Anna and Kristoff’s house, and entering the home will spark the quest “The Woven Bridge” from Jack. You’ll need to remove three spiderwebs, and removing each of them will drop two spiderwebs that you can pick up. You can also talk to Kristoff about the spiderwebs, but this is optional.

The second group of spiderwebs, which you’ll need to find after asking Jack about those you found in Anna and Kristoff’s house, can be found in the following villagers houses:

  • Three in Mirabel’s house
  • Five in Vanellope’s house
  • Three in Remy’s house

With all of the spiderwebs collected, head back to Jack and talk to him to hand them over and he will decipher the hidden message within. Sally has convinced some spiders to create a portal to him, but they need a little help in the shape of an Arachnid Rejuvination Potion.

To make an Arachnid Rejuvination Potion, you’ll need the following items:

  • 1 Empty Vial
    • Made using 3 Glass
  • 4 Red Bell Flowers
    • Found growing in the Forest of Valor
  • 4 Night shards
    • Found from digging up glittering dig spots
  • 6 Cotton
    • Grown from Cotton Seeds costing 42 Star Coins from Goofy’s Stall on Sunlit Plateau. It takes 25 minutes to grow and needs watering three times.
  • 8 Mushrooms
    • Found on the ground in the Glade of Trust, or through destroying Mushroom Patches
  • 1 Blueberry Pie
    • Made using the following ingredients at a cooking station:
      • Blueberry
      • Wheat
      • Butter

Once you’ve made the potion, go to Jack’s house to give it to him. You’ll need to go to his house even if you have him hanging out with you. After he’s tweaked the potion a little, he’ll hand it back to you, and all that’s left to do then is put it into the cauldron in the corner of his house.

This will welcome Sally to the Valley, and you can begin working through her friendship quests to unlock all of her rewards.
