The Interstellar Camo is the ultimate badge of honor and pride in MW3 for completionists and weapon skin collectors. Youāll have to play an unbelievable amount of MW3 if you want to get this gorgeous camo skin.
How to unlock the Interstellar Camo in MW3
There is only one way to unlock the Interstellar Camo in MW3, and it will take most players an enormous amount of grinding. This camo has a single challenge, which sounds pretty simple, right? Yeah, except the challenge hides so much behind it. Here is the single challenge you must complete for the Interstellar Camo:
- Complete 36 Priceless Camo challenges
That is the single challenge for this weapon camo skin. However, the problem is you canāt do the Priceless Camo challenges until you get the Forged skin on 36 weapons. And then, to get the Forged skins, you need to get the Gilded Camo on 36 weapons, too. It is a whole mess, which pretty much requires you to master every single new weapon in the game.
This means every assault rifle, SMG, sniper rifle, launcher, knife, etc. You need to get all four of the base camos for every MW3 weapon, and you will be able to get the Interstellar Camo. This can take a long time because it is much more than simply maxing out the level for each weapon.
Interstellar Camo challenge tips
The basic goal every player should have for trying to get the Interstellar Camo in MW3 is to aim for the four basic camos for the 36 new weapons. These camos vary considerably from weapon to weapon, such as getting eliminations while in the Tac Stance or while crouching.
But these challenges arenāt even available to you until you reach certain level milestones for that particular weapon, so youāre wasting your time if you try to do them too soon. Your first objective should be to max out the level for the weapon youāre currently grinding. Double weapon XP tokens really help out with this, which you can get from the battle pass or certain real-world ventures like Monster Energy drinks.
You should also focus on modes where you get to use that weapon often, such as War, Ground War, and Team Deathmatch. These game modes also work really well for the camo challenges you have for each weapon. War is my favorite since the matches last so long, but the map isnāt too big.
Once you have one weapon maxed out, it is pretty easy to move on to the next one and rinse and repeat the process. It will get easier as you go since youāll know what to do, but it can also get boring. I suggest turning on a podcast or show or hanging with friends to better pass the time.
