How to unlock and equip all Trust Glamour in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV)

The return of the Crystal Exarch

If you’ve seen images of Y’shtola dressed in the Summer Sunset Beach Cover Up floating around the internet, you could be forgiven for being a little confused. However, this is simply a Glamour she can wear, earned for her through Trusts in Final Fantasy XIV

Y’shtola, along with the rest of the Scions, can wear glamours through the MMO’s Trust system, with a new outfit to unlock every 10 levels. Once you get them to level 100, specific Trust party members can now dress up to fully represent the summer vacation promised in Dawntrail

Like I said, a new Glamour is unlocked for each Trust member once they hit a former or current maximum level (80, 90, and 100). It’s not just the Scions who have Glamours to unlock (Ryne has one Glamour available once she hits level 80), although they are the only ones who can be dressed up to look like they’re ready for a day out at the Costa Del Sol.

The following Trust members have four different Glamours, including the new summer holiday level 100 Glamours, which can be unlocked via leveling them:

  • Alphinaud
  • Alisaie
  • Thancred
  • Urianger
  • Y’shtola
  • Estinien
  • G’raha

Each Glamour style unlocks at the following level:

  • Shadowbringers costume (level 80)
  • Endwalker costume (level 90)
  • Dawntrail / summer vacation costume (level 100)

With her upgrade to Pictomancer in Dawntrail, Krile was added to the Trust system to be leveled from 91 to 100. As such, she only has one Glamour to unlock at level 100, specifically a summer vacation look for everybody’s favorite Lalafell.

How to change Trust NPC Glamour in Final Fantasy XIV

Open up the Trusts interface and select the party member whose appearance you want to change. From here, you’ll be able to select from the Glamour that you currently have unlocked.

You can also click on the NPC who needs a change of clothes and click on one of the Glamour icons in their information bar, which appears directly above the NPC selection portion of this menu.

You can also use this to see how close you are to unlocking a new Glamour. Above, you can see that Thancred has all four of his Glamours available, whereas below, Y’shtola (who I have not leveled through Trusts yet) only has her default appearance available, with three left to unlock.
