The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is now live on early access, and it’s the first glimpse of what’s to come in October.
Currently available to those with beta codes/Game Pass membership/Vault Edition, players can try out some of the maps and game modes that will be available in the full launch. Despite having some obvious limitations, the beta has been a good experience for many. You can use custom loadouts once unlocked to personalize your in-game experience further.
How to unlock custom loadouts in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta?
To build your personalized loadouts, you’ll have to reach a certain level. Currently, you’ll need to be at level 4 to unlock the ability to make custom loadouts. Reaching level 4 isn’t a challenging task, as a few rounds will get you there. The rate of progression will depend on how well/poorly you’re doing in those games.
Once unlocked, you can avail up to ten different loadouts to pick from during a game. It’s a game-changer for sure, compared to the limited number of options you have at the beginning.
How to use custom loadouts in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta?
Once a custom loadout is available, you can tweak the following aspects:
- Primary Weapon
- Secondary Weapon
- Melee Weapon
- Tactical Equipment
- Lethal Equipment
- Field Upgrade
- Perks
- Combat Specialty
- Wildcard
Once you have unlocked the loadouts, you’ll still need to keep grinding and leveling up. The beginner weapons have their limitations, and that will remain even when you build your loadouts. As you level up, you’ll unlock new guns, and they just feel better to use. As you get the ability to make your own loadouts, these guns are only going to have a greater impact across the different game modes.
