Vampire Survivors is a game that keeps on giving so long as you persevere. In the beginning, you only have access to a limited number of characters and weapons. The more playthroughs you clear the more unlocks you get: which includes items, weapons, and exciting new characters.

How to unlock secret characters in Vampire Survivors
The main roster of characters are pretty easy to unlock with straightforward objectives. As for the secret characters, the conditions that you need to meet and things that you need to do can get tricky. | Boon Marrabbio | Defeat the shadow in the Mad Forest. To spawn the shadow, collect the Skull and Pummarola items, then keep collecting chickens from braziers until you see pies. Keep eating the pies until the shadow appears. |
| Cosmo Pavone | Start a run in Cappella Magna using a character without Golden Eggs. How to do that: |
| Exdash Exiviiq | Type in ‘x-x1viiq’ on the main menu. When a chime sounds, Exdash is unlocked. |
| Gains Boros | Go to the Bone Zone and head north past the silver ring. When you find a green ring of flowers that heals you by 8 HP every half-second, stand inside it for at least ten seconds to hear the unlock sound. |
| Gyorunton | Survive in Boss Rash for 15 minutes with only one weapon |
| Leda | Beat Lead in the Gallo Tower. Move south until your screen turns dark and she spawns. |
| Minnah Mannarah | Obtain Yellow Sign and defeat the werewolves in the Dairy Plant. To spawn them, collect the cheese which is at the west of the Armor item that you will see. |
| missingN | Kill 128 winged giant eyes in Green Acres. How to do that: |
| Peppino | Use Celestial Dusting to heal the plants instead of attacking them at II Molise. 100,000 HP will be restored and the character gets unlocked. |
| Red Death (Mask of the Red Death) | Kill Death when the time runs out after you survive until the end of any stage. This requires both Crimson Shroud and Infinite Corridor. |
| Scorej-Oni | Defeat Scorej-Oni as a boss on the level Tiny Bridge. From your spawn point, go all the way to the right to find him. |
| Smith IV | Type the word “spam” in the main menu which starts a 30-second timer. Go to the character selection menu and type “spam”. Select a character and type “spam” in the stage selection screen. When you start the level, type “humbug”. Smith unlocks after the run. Unlocking both Exdash and Toastie first is needed. |
| Toastie | Kill either a Stalker or Drowner. When Toastie appears on the lower right of the screen, quickly press the down arrow and Enter keys. Exdash should be unlocked first. |
| (A randomized character name) | Look under a previously owned coffin, which reappears on levels where they originally spawned. |
How to unlock the original roster of characters in Vampire Survivors
The original roster of characters in Vampire Survivors can be unlocked by progressing through the game as normal. The conditions on how to unlock them are also accessible in the Unlocks menu, making it much easier for you to get these characters while surviving stage after stage.

How to unlock characters in the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC
If you installed Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell, then you’ll surely be getting the bang to your buck. There’s also a roster of new secret characters for you to unlock if you have it:
