All Astro Bot hidden trophies and how to unlock them

There are nine hidden trophies you can discover across Astro Bot. Fortunately, none of them are missable, so you can always go back to the planets to fulfill these unique tasks. Here’s a quick overview of what these trophies are (we’ll dig more into what steps you need to take after):

  • Net Profit
  • The Lost Eggacy
  • What A Trip!
  • Double Dug-in
  • Time to Cash In!
  • Jumping Through Hoops
  • Royally Stuck
  • Eyes of the All-Father
  • The Golden Bot

Now, we’ll show you how to unlock Astro Bot’s hidden trophies in greater detail:

Catch the golden butterfly in Apes On the Loose (Net Profit)

You can find the golden butterfly on the Gorilla Nebula’s Apes On the Loose planet. Progress through the level until you reach the main destination filled with apes. Go directly behind the giant statue in the center to locate a ladder with a glass walkway. Hit the bush on the right to get the golden butterfly to come out.

Now comes the hard part of actually catching the critter, who will be reasonably fast. I found it best to use the speed boosts from the statue’s railing and then perform a jump for the capture.

Collect egg artifacts in Dude Racing (The Lost Eggacy)

Locate three egg artifacts in the Serpent Starway’s Dude Racing planet. One of the first items will be near the airplane with one of the Astro Bots. Eliminate the enemies there and then go toward the back to climb a ladder. You’ll find an Uncharted-inspired puzzle here, where you must match all four of the stone symbols. The end result should look like this:

Shortly after this, you’ll go down a hill using Nathan Drake’s iconic slide. Go to the right of the checkpoint to pick up another Astro Bot, and then travel up the stone platforms. An egg artifact will be on one of the last structures.

Continue through the level until you reach a spiky area with a long rope. Climb to the mid-way point and look behind you to find the last egg artifact in Astro Bot. You can get rid of the enemy here by using your spinning attack to unscrew it.

Defeat enemies with the Tripcaster in Astro Bots (What A Trip!)

The last galaxy, Feather Cluster, holds the Machine Learning planet for the What A Trip! trophy. Play the level to reach a destination with electrifying wires, aka the Tripcasters. Go up to the area with the following checkpoint, but be sure not to use your double jump. This interaction cuts the wire, which may force you to start over again. You can still keep the cables intact by only using a single jump.

Gather the attention of the nearby foes and direct them over to Tripcaster wiring. Hop over it to eliminate them and circle your way back to other enemies to earn the achievement.

Take out Wormys at the same time in Astro Bots (Double Dug-in)

Enter the Wormy Passage planet in the Tentacle System. Obtain the Twin-Frog Gloves ability at the beginning and punch your way through the cave area. You’ll stumble upon two worm enemies on this pathway, which is the perfect chance to unlock the Double Dug-in trophy. Use ‘L2’ on the left-most foe and ‘R2’ to get the one on the right. While using the two gloves, take them out simultaneously. If you don’t get it this time around, there’ll be a few more opportunities later in the level.

Stop time and win the jackpot in Slo-Mo Casino (Time to Cash In!)

In Serpent Starway, you’ll arrive at Slo-Mo Casino and unlock the Time Stopper. After you’ve transported to the level’s next stage, look for four jackpots. The goal here is to use the slow-mo skill and wait for the slot to have three golden Astro Bot symbols. Hit the button once the timing’s right, and repeat this step again for the other three jackpots.

Leap through the ring in Bubbling Under (Jumping Through Hoops)

Now, it’s time to go to the Camo Cosmos’ Bubbling Under planet. Use your Penguin ability to swim to the area with a trapped starfish. Once you’ve reached this point, swim up to locate the ring. The dolphins provide a hint at what to do, where you must use the ‘R2’ button to catch speed and then jump through the ring at the opportune moment.

Get a little too close to a sticky sphere in Crash Site (Royally Stuck)

To earn the Royally Stuck trophy in Astro Bot, grab The Prince from the Tentacle System’s Downsize Surprise. Once you’ve done that, purchase the character’s exclusive animation from the Gatcha Lab. Although hitting the bots is frowned upon, you’ll need to do so with The Prince Bot. Punch the robotic character, and it should start rolling its sphere. Get caught in its pathway to stick to it.

Find and defeat ravens in Bot of War (Eyes of the All-Father)

After defeating the boss in Wako Tako, you’ll unlock the Tentacle System’s Bot of War planet. Locate eight ravens here to acquire the Eyes of the All-Father trophy in Astro Bot. The first one can be hard to miss since it’ll be right at the start. Hit it with your ship on the left side.

Unlock the Leviathan Axe and go to the next stage to encounter a giant frozen enemy on the left. Jump up to reach the top of it and hit the raven on the wooden platform.

You’ll spot three ravens nearby once you’ve traveled to the following checkpoint. Throw the Leviathan Axe toward each of them.

When you reach the area with the chain icicles, use your tool to hit the raven on the left side.

At the same place, make a right and hit the ice to reveal a trampoline. Attack the barriers to travel to another area with the raven tree. Just like last time, throw the axe to obtain the raven and the Smartest Man Alive Astro Bot.

Continue forward to reach the last Bot of War raven on the edge. It’ll appear after you’ve hit the ice with the log.

Rescue the Special Master Bot at the Golden Statue (The Golden Bot)

The Golden Bot trophy requires you to obtain 300 Astro Bots and 120 puzzle pieces. Complete every planet and use the bird guide if you get too lost. The Crash Site map also gives you a hint on where to go next for various bots and puzzles.

Once you’ve accomplished this feat, head to the Crash Site to uncover the Golden Statue. Enter the portal and finish the course in the Great Master Challenge. Unfortunately, there are no checkpoints here, so you’ll likely need to replay a few rounds to get it right. Don’t worry; you’ll be rewarded in the end to solidify your achievement.
