What does ‘Spend time with some classic friends’ mean in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The ‘Spend time with some classic friends’ task comes from the Lovely Monsters Star Path or Dreamlight duties. You must hang out with Disney’s most well-known companions for 15 minutes to finish the mission. The following members are the only ones that count toward its completion:

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Goofy
  • Scrooge McDuck
  • Donald Duck

Look around the map to find at least one of these characters in the Disney Dreamlight Valley’s realms. However, some may not be accessible due to their set sleep schedule. If this occurs, move on to someone else and select the ‘Let’s hang out!’ prompt.

Now that the companion is latched onto you, go about your business and wait until that 15-minute mark. This includes going around the town and performing tasks, or standing awkwardly together in silence. Nevertheless, if things don’t move along, it may require some movement, such as fishing and mining. Your best bet is to keep track of the Star Path mission to check your progress.

The scream canister currency earned from the ‘Spend time with some classic friends’ task can be exchanged in the Lovely Monsters Star Path section. You can unlock items like the Rosy Cloud Turtle Companion, Monsters, Inc. Door Ensemble, and Monsters University Varsity Mike. The completed quest shown here can be used for smaller rewards, including the Boo’s Door or A-Door-able Jacket.

The entire Star Path collection involves more tasks, typically providing five of the scream canister currency. It will take some time to get all of them, so be sure to complete the other duties for additional gems.
