How to solve the Teapot Falls Fairy Tale Trial in Disney Dreamlight Valley

That's a lot of question blocks.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll officially step foot into another Fairy Tale Trial after unlocking Teapot Falls and crafting a shovel upgrade potion to help you break some teacups. This time, you have Flynn to navigate you through this trial, but there are still plenty of challenging puzzles to face.

Teapot Falls quest walkthrough

The Teapot Falls mission begins immediately after completing the Curiouser and Curiouser quest and entering Teapot Fallsā€™ Fairy Tale Trial. Upon stepping into its gate, your first task is to explore further.

As you head down the stairs, look out for the three question blocks along the walls. The first is in front of you as you descend the first staircase, with the second being directly on your right as you approach the floating furniture.

Once you reach the end of the path, youā€™ll spot your first puzzle: a door. In front of the door is three question blocks. Remember those blocks from earlier? You can use the first two sets to determine the first and third blocks are dragons.

What about the middle block? Fortunately, the final solution is right above the door, with the middle space showing a tower. Use your shovel on all three spaces until they show two dragons and a tower in the middle to unlock the door.

Immediately after, youā€™ll have your next objective: setting up a table for a tea party. Before doing this, you can have a quick chat with Flynn to talk about the empty table. Heā€™ll also comment on the clock before suggesting you look for instructions.

Youā€™ll find two sets of instructions on both sides of the golden trolley. The first one reads the following:

“Weā€™re already late! Oh dear, oh dear.

To get us started, first someone must set the chairs in the right places at the table.

The Ornate Pink Chairā€¦ why that must go in a place of honor, of course!

The elegant Blue Chair, why that belongs closest to the guest of honor!

The Sturdy Wooden Chair, that ought to go farthest away, for someone shy.”

Fortunately, you wonā€™t have to worry about getting these out of your furniture menu and losing them forever. Theyā€™re already in the space and ready for you to use. Yes, this is another Decoration puzzle.

Once you go into your furniture menu, youā€™ll spot three empty spaces around the table. Place the pink chair on the farthest side, closest to the door. Youā€™ll place the blue chair near it, followed by the wooden chair in the empty space closest to the golden trolley.

Now that thatā€™s all done, we can check out the second set of instructions:

“Once the chairs are set, you must place the tea set on the trolley at the end of the table, ready to serve.

Oh where oh where did I leave that tea setā€¦ It must be around here somewhereā€¦”

Letā€™s find some tea pots. Weā€™ll have to complete a few extra puzzles for this, the first of which is more question mark blocks.

If you turn left of the dining table, youā€™ll spot four question mark blocks on the wall, with a dragon symbol directly above it. Right away, you can interact with the block labelled II and turn it into a dragon. Make sure youā€™re interacting with the right one: itā€™s in the fourth space, not the second.

Youā€™ll find the next answer near the vertical wheel next to the table. This one reveals a flower for the block labelled I.

The next answer is near the vertical wheel next to the table. This one reveals a flower for the block labelled I.

Lastly, head up the staircase leading to the glowing mushrooms and green treasure chest. Youā€™ll see a wolf here for the fourth and final block.

Now that we have this information, swap all the blocks around to match these symbols to receive the Stout Tea Pot. One down, one more to go.

Our next puzzle involves the vertical wheel from earlier. Hit it with your Royal Net to open the door before heading down the corridor. Following the path, youā€™ll find another set of four question blocks that are harder than the last.

Our first hint, although unusual, reveals that the dragon is in the top-left corner of the grid. Why top-left instead of the bottom-right? The wall version is upside down! By matching the block to its ground version, we can see the green bat next to its corner, indicating which one is the right version.

Now that thatā€™s out of the way, youā€™ll have to navigate three mazes to find the rest of the answers. The first one, in the top-right corner of the room, reveals the tower is in the bottom-right corner of the grid.

The next one is directly behind you, blocked off by some rocks. Break these to see the next grid, revealing another tower in the bottom-left space.

Our last destination is the maze on the left side of the room. Enter it from the opening directly to the left of the entrance before opening the treasure chest to your left for a ā€œA Very Unusual Tea Timeā€ meal. You wonā€™t need it for this quest, so feel free to eat it or save it for later.

Instead, run forward and turn left to reveal that a second dragon is in the top-right space of the grid. We now have all our answers, but first, you can continue in this maze to find a second treasure chest containing 500 coins.

Head back to the roomā€™s center and use your shovel to set the top two squares to a dragon and the bottom two to towers. The exit will open, revealing a treasure chest containing the Tall Tea Pot.

Wrapping up the Teapot Falls Fairy Tale Trial

With both pots on hand, return to the main foyer and place both teapots on the golden trolley.

Our last stop is the clock from earlier. Thankfully, thereā€™s an instruction pillar that reads the following:

“Gah! That clock on the far wall hasnā€™t been working at all.

Once youā€™ve done all the rest, youā€™ll have to set the hands for teatime manually. Hmmā€¦ 8 oā€™clock would be too early, and 10 oā€™clock would be too late, but in between would be just right!”

Nine oā€™clock is our answer. Interact with the clock until the hand reaches nine.

After a series of puzzles, the final room will open, revealing the source of corruption within this Fairy Tale Trial. Interact with it to grow the beanstalk to Maleficentā€™s castle and officially complete the Teapot Falls quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
