How to solve the Elysian Fields Mythic Trial in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Let's hope Hades really likes these decorative pots.

Weā€™re getting closer to meeting Hades in Disney Dreamlight Valley. As we explore the Storybook Valeā€™s Mythopia biome, our character, and Merida have discovered a Mythic Trial that acts much like Everafterā€™s version. Itā€™s time to begin the Guts and Glory quest and tackle this trial.

The Guts and Glory quest starts immediately after you enter the Mythic Trial in Mythopia. Although this one differs greatly from the Everafter Trial in appearance and mechanics, we can still break it down step-by-step.

First, though, itā€™s time to meet Hades. Heading down the spiral staircase, youā€™ll see him waiting for your arrival. If you press further about his situation with Maleficent, heā€™ll tell you he wants a favor from you in exchange for him listening to your side of the story.

However, before he does that, heā€™ll first direct your attention to a cart of vases. Heā€™ll ask you to give it a push, which youā€™ll do by interacting with it before following him directly to the right. Youā€™ll spot a wheel youā€™re likely very familiar with by now: give it a big olā€™ swing with your Royal Net to activate the bridge.

From here, things continue to be fairly straightforward. As you cross the bridge and follow the path, youā€™ll eventually reach a bridge with a lever next to it. You wonā€™t be able to push the cart yet, though. Instead, break the rocks blocking access to another wheel before hitting it with your net again. Now, the gates will open, giving you free rein to push the cart again.

Thatā€™s not the end of this Mythic Trial, though. Youā€™ll notice a second gate open, which youā€™ll enter to reach Hades again. Thereā€™s also a green chest with some cupcakes worth picking up for a quick snack.

This part of the quest can seem tricky at first, as youā€™ll only see a sandy vortex with no apparent way to release the bridge. The secret to this one is using your fishing rod on this vortex to pull the bridge up, giving you access to another wheel. Hitting the wheel once redirects the bridge to some rocks, where you can find a chest containing shiny rubies. Yay, money.

Our true destination for this trial is the platform after this chest one. Rotate the bridge once more to reach it before ascending the stairs, pulling both bridge levers, and hitting another vertical wheel.

Doing this opens the nearby gate, but the cart wonā€™t be able to move forward yet. Draw the second bridge up so it stops blocking the path before pushing the cart one last time.

Youā€™ve successfully delivered the vases, prompting Hades to admire your skill. Heā€™ll also point out the nearby source of corruption that, upon activating, will teleport you both out.

With that, you have one final task: build Hades an Underworld-inspired home, and pay the 10,000 Star Coin fee to welcome Hades into your village. Following one last conversation, youā€™ll officially complete the Guts and Glory quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
