How to Reach the Castle in MW3 Get Higher mode

The Get Higher mode is back and better than ever with all-new challenges and exclusive cosmetics. If you’re up for the task, you can earn the exclusive Synth-Bust camo, which requires you to ‘Reach the Castle.’ But since the game doesn’t give you an explanation for this task, here’s how to Reach the Castle in MW3’s Get Higher mode.

MW3 Reach the Castle guide – All Coin locations

To Reach the Castle in Modern Warfare 3 Get Higher, collect 12 Coins around the map. Most locations will be hard to spot, so we’ll review each one to narrow it down:

Location 1

The first Coin can be found near the start, where you should see moving red blocks on a lower level. Go to the left side and travel down a drop point to collect it in a room with skeletons.

Location 2

Keep progressing through the course until you’ve reached the spinning orange blocks. After you’ve gone through two spinning rooms, enter the hole in the wall to grab the Coin on the right side.

Location 3

The following Coin will be right behind the third checkpoint, in a corner to the right of the sliding point.

Location 4

The fourth Coin will be hard to miss since it can be spotted on the main pathway. After the eighth checkpoint, there should be some arrows near it.

Location 5

Once you’ve reached the area with cargo containers (ninth checkpoint), go up the blocks with a stair-esque layout. Next, try to jump into the hidden location with a strange symbol to grab the following item.

Location 6

By the tenth checkpoint, you’ll reach an area with twirling spikes at the bottom. Wait for the moving platform to appear and quickly grab the Coin.

Location 7

Before moving on to the next phase, you must drop down to the pink room just below the sixth Coin. It can be tricky to land on, so inch your way to the platform’s edge to reach it. Inside it, you’ll find the Coin, where you must go through the portal to return to the course.

Location 8

Continue to progress through the track until you’ve come across moving red blocks that can prove deadly. Travel to the middle area to grab a Coin, but keep track of the obstacle’s movement.

Location 9

After checkpoint 13, you’ll encounter a Departures airplane. Jump on top of the wing on the left side to make your way to the back of the plane. Climb up the first ladder (you don’t need to use the second one) and then go down the drop point.

Enter the back of the plane on the lower level to collect a Coin in MW3 Get Higher mode.

Location 10

If you encounter an orange twirling mechanism, go around it to checkpoint 16. As you enter the room, head down to the lower platform. But be on high alert for the moving obstacle that could block your path.

You can then look down to notice a hidden room with a Coin, getting you one step closer to reaching the castle in MW3.

Location 11

One of the last Coins is pretty easy to locate, as it will once again be on the main pathway. Look out for it when reaching checkpoint 18.

Location 12

The final Coin of MW3’s Get Higher mode will be just before the finish line. After checkpoint 21, go to the right side and jump on the moving platform. Stay on top of it and wait for it to go down. You should see a room that harnesses the last Coin.

With all Coins in hand, head to the finishing line to enter the portal. Instead of ending the game like usual, it will take you to the castle. Here, Operators can shoot around and target points for XP. The Synth-Bust camo will also be unlocked now that you have met the ‘Reach the Castle’ requirement in MW3 Get Higher. Check your Events section in Gunsmith’s Camo to equip this new skin.
