The owners of Ashton Fine Jewelry in Payday 3 must get robbed a lot because they certainly have a great many ways to try and stop you from knocking them over and taking their jewels. Not only do they have a large vault, but it’s a nightmare to get it open. In this guide, we’ll show you what you need to do to get inside.
Where is the vault?
If you are not quite used to the layout yet, the vault can be found in the main hallway. It has a huge metal door and is tough to miss. You can get inside by sneaking around the back and coming in a window, but you will need to watch out for the cameras in the alley. You can also unlock the basement from the outside and come in that way.
How to open the Vault
To open the Vault in the Dirty Ice heist, you will need to hit the button on the desk in the manager’s office while using a keycard at the vault door. That’s right, it is a two-person job. First, you need to get the keycard, which is located down in the basement.
Once you have the keycard, come back up, and one player needs to swipe the card on the panel beside the vault door while the other hits the button on the manager’s desk. Doing so will open the vault door and allow you inside. If you are playing solo, grab a hostage and then shove them at the button. Doing so will prompt them to hit the button for you, and you can swipe the card.
How to get into the basement
To get into the basement, you need to either drill the basement door or find the keycode. Finding the basement keycode is a pretty involved process. I would suggest reading the linked guide, but in short, you need to go to the manager’s office, hack the computer, then go to either the VIP Room, breakroom, or main showroom to find the code. Once you have the code, head downstairs, enter the four digits by interacting with the relevant buttons, and then hit the green checkmark to enter the code.
Where to find the Vault Keycard in Dirty Ice
In the far left corner of the room is a door that you can lockpick your way through. Inside, you will find the vault keycard sitting on a table beside a small safe. There is also a breaker box on the wall that you can use to shut down the VIP Room lockdown measures. Once you have the keycard, you can head back upstairs and get the vault door open.
