There are now over 300 recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including those added as part of the two Rift in Time and Storybook Vale DLCs. Some are harder than others to make, and all offer a varying amount of energy when consumed, or Star Coins when sold to Goofy.
Of these recipes, perhaps one of the easiest to make is Veggie Pie. It calls for ingredients that are easy to grow or source, and can be made at any Cooking Station as soon as you’ve opened up Chez Remy and gained access to his wares.
How to make Veggie Pie in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Veggie Pie is a three star Entrée in Disney Dreamlight Valley. As with all three star meals, it calls for only three ingredients:
- 1 of any Vegetable
- Which vegetable you use to make Veggie Pie in Disney Dreamlight Valley is entirely up to you, and the decision will likely be made by seeing what vegetables you have on hand at the time. If you’re running short on vegetables in your inventory, remember to visit Wall-E’s garden to make use of those that he grows there daily.
- A good choice for this is the humble Carrot, seeds for which can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow costing 10 Star Coins each. They grow in 15 minutes and need watering only once.
- Remember to make use of Miracle Growth Elixir if you need any crops to grow in a hurry.
- 1 Butter
- This is the only required ingredient for Vegetable Pie that cannot be grown. Instead, you’ll need to purchase it from Chez Remy after unlocking it for 190 Star Coins.
- 1 Wheat
- Wheat Seeds are purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow, or in Ancient’s Landing if you have the Rift in Time DLC. Either way, they cost 1 Star Coin each and grow in one minute.
- Wheat is the cheapest seed you can purchase in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the quickest crop to grow, and each seed produces two Wheat, so you can gain a huge stockpile in no time at all.
The total cost for making Veggie Pie, if all of the growable ingredients are grown from scratch for this purpose, is 206 Star Coins.
How to use Veggie Pie in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Although you’re not going to make any huge profits by selling Veggie Pie, it does sell for at at least 279 Star Coins, so it’s a good option during early-game moments when you’re running short on funds, although you can probably collect just as much by removing Night Thorns.
Veggie Pie is much more useful when it comes to providing energy, providing at least 634 energy when consumed. At player level 1, your character has a maximum of 1,000 energy, so chowing down on a Veggie Pie is enough to fill your energy bar to over half way, and eating two will get you some yellow energy to help you zoom around the Valley on your glider or wings.
Alternatively, if you just want to decorate a tabletop to create the vision of a banquet, you can drop Veggie Pie from within your inventory and then enter the furniture menu to move it around. Villagers can also request Veggie Pie while dining at Chez Remy, and may have it included as one of their Favorite Things at any time.
