I’m not sure how much pesto you need to put with your pasta in order for it to become the leading ingredient in the dish, but that’s neither here nor there. Regardless, here’s how to make Pesto with Linguine.

Pesto with Linguine is a 4-star entrée that makes up part of the Dreamlight Valley collection. As such, you don’t need to have the Rift in Time DLC in order to make this meal. As a 4-star meal, you’ll need four ingredients to make it:

  • 1 Wheat
    • Can be purchased ready to use from Goofy’s Stalls in Peaceful Meadow and Ancient’s Landing for 3 Star Coins each
    • Wheat Seeds can be purchased in the same locations for 1 Star Coin each. Wheat takes one minute to grow and needs watering just once
  • 1 Butter
    • Purchased from Chez Remy for 190 Star Coins each
  • 1 Garlic
    • A maximum of 10 Garlic can be foraged in the Forest of Valor at any time
    • Appears inside the Frozen Realm
    • Foraged from The Grove and The Lagoon areas of the Wild Tangle
    • Possible drop from Raccoons when fed a food that they like
  • 1 Oregano
    • A maximum of 10 Oregano can be foraged on the Plaza at any time
    • When fed a food that they like, Squirrels can drop Oregano

Once you’ve got these four ingredients, you can throw them into any Cooking Pot to make Pesto with Linguine. Make sure you’ve got some Coal in your inventory or storage, or purchase some from Kristoff’s Stall.

Is Pesto with Linguine worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Although it’s not likely to make you rich any time soon, Pesto with Linguine will sell for at least 428 Star Coins. It’s slightly more useful for energy regeneration, restoring 1,063 energy when consumed, which is enough to half-fill your energy bar with blue energy if you’ve reached level 40, or completely fill it if you’re just starting out on your Valley adventure.

You’re more likely to end up cooking Pesto with Linguine if a villager has it as one of their daily favorite gifts or requests it in Chez Remy. It comes up fairly often, and it’s pretty cheap to make as most of the ingredients can be grown or foraged.

You can use Pesto with Linguine as a decoration by dropping it from your inventory and then moving it around in the Furniture menu.
