Disney Dreamlight Valley features recipes from all corners of the globe, and each nationality and culture has some measure of representation in the game’s collective cookbook. As a British person, I’m pleased to say that this includes Fish ‘n’ Chips.
Fish ‘n’ Chips is a four-star meal, so you’ll need four ingredients to make it. While you only have to cook the fish and the chip parts of this meal, the dished-up plate also comes with mushy peas, tartar sauce, and a few slices of lemon, as all good Fish ‘n’ Chips should.
How to make Fish ‘n’ Chips in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Like I said, you’ll need four ingredients to make Fish ‘n’ Chips:
- 1 of any Fish
- I’d recommend choosing a fish that is easy to catch, such as Bass. Bass can be caught almost everywhere, even where there aren’t any fishing spots. Of course, if you want authentic Fish ‘n’ Chips, you should use Cod.
- 1 Potato
- Can be purchased from Goofy’s Stalls in the Forgotten Lands or the Wild Tangle for 189 Star Coins. Alternatively, you can purchase Potato Seeds from the same stalls, which take 35 minutes to grow and need three waterings.
- 1 Wheat
- Purchased from Goofy’s Stalls in Peaceful Meadow or Ancient’s Landing for 3 Star Coins. Wheat Seeds can be purchased from the same locations for 1 Star Coin, take one minute to grow and need watering just once.
- 1 Canola
- Purchased from Goofy’s Stalls in the Forest of Valor or Ancient’s Landing for 164 Star Coins. If you want to grow it yourself, Canola Seeds can be purchased in the same locations for 25 Star Coins, take 35 minutes to grow and need watering three times.
Once you’ve gathered up all of the necessary ingredients, and as long as you have some Coal in your inventory or storage somewhere, you’ll be able to cook Fish ‘n’ Chips at any Cooking Station.
Is Fish ‘n’ Chips worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Although not the most valuable when it comes to providing energy, only giving 697 energy when consumed, Fish ‘n’ Chips does sell well and will get you 356 or more Star Coins for each dish sold to Goofy at one of his stalls. This is a pretty nice profit for minimal effort based on the cost of ingredients, especially if you grow your own.
It’s also a fairly common request for favorite gifts or from villagers dining at Chez Remy, so it’s a good idea to keep a stock of ingredients on hand if you want to complete duties, especially during Star Path events.
If you want, you can also use Fish ‘n’ Chips as a decoration on any table or surface. To do this, just drop the meal from within your inventory and then enter the Furniture menu to move it to your desired location.
