If you’re a fan of chocolatey goodness and indulgence, then I’ve got good news for you. Fields of Mistria’s v0.11.6 update added a new and gloriously decadent recipe to the game — Chocolate Cake.
Although Chocolate Cake itself isn’t new to Mistria, having been sold at Darcy’s Stall and found in Treasure Chests previously, this is the first time that we can cook this tasty treat. This gooey, melt-in-the-middle dessert is a 3-star, level 20 recipe made in tier two Kitchens. It takes 40 minutes to cook, so make sure you leave enough time between starting the preparation and the end of day at 2 a.m., lest you pass out in the cake mix.
How to get the Chocolate Cake recipe in Fields of Mistria
As with all things cakey in Fields of Mistria, the recipe for Chocolate Cake can be obtained from Darcy’s Stall at the Saturday Market. It’s among the most expensive recipes, and will set you back 400 Tesserae.
Remember, if you’ve not purchased all of the recipes on offer from Darcy’s Stall, you may have to wait a few weeks before Chocolate Cake shows up.

There are four necessary ingredients when it comes to making Chocolate Cake, and they’re as you’d expect if you’ve ever made a cake in real life:

- Has a chance to appear at Balor’s Wagon for 200 Tesserae. As this is a fairly common ingredient, or otherwise liked gift, I advise that you stock up on Chocolate whenever it appears for sale.

- It’s possible for Flour to drop from any type of Treasure Chest

- Can possibly be found for sale at Balor’s Wagon for 50 Tesserae
- Possible reward after exchanging 10 Shiny Beads at the Chicken Statue
Is Chocolate Cake worth making in Fields of Mistria
Of all the new recipes, Chocolate Cake is possibly the most worthwhile. In terms of gifting, Eiland loves Chocolate Cake while March likes it, so if you give them Chocolate Cake, you’ll get 20 or 10 friendship points, respectively, at least.
Once baked, Chocolate Cake sells for at least 470 Tesserae, which is a pretty profit if you’ve grown your own ingredients. In terms of energy and health, Chocolate Cake will restore 110 of each when consumed, which is more than enough to get you through a few levels of the Mines in good shape.
