One of the Rift in Time recipes is Braised Abalone, a seafood dish that’s slow-cooked and drenched in garlic sauce. Delicious and pretty, but how do you make it?

Braised Abalone is a 4-star Entrée, so you’ll need four ingredients to make it. Thankfully, you don’t have to spend any Star Coins in order to make this meal, so you can make huge profits, but more on that later.

Here’s all the ingredients for Braised Abalone and how to get them:

  • 1 Oyster
    • Blue shell foraged on the shore of Dazzle Beach
  • 1 Sea Snail
    • Fished from blue fishing spots in Ancient’s Landing
    • Can also appear in white fishing spots in the same area, although this is less common
  • 1 Mushroom
    • Foraged from the ground in the Glade of Trust
    • Dropped when destroying mushroom patches in the following biomes
      • Peaceful Meadow
      • Glade of Trust
      • Sunlit Plateau
  • 1 Garlic
    • A maximum of 10 Garlic can be found at any time in the Forest of Valor
    • Found within the Frozen Realm
    • Found in The Grove and The Lagoon areas of the Wild Tangle
    • Dropped by Raccoons after feeding them a food that they like

Is Braised Abalone worth making in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Braised Abalone is worth making purely because you don’t have to spend any money to make it, making any money that you earn by selling is pure profit. Goofy will purchase Braised Abalone for at least 570 Star Coins each, making this an ideal money maker if you’ve got a surplus of ingredients.

If you’re wanting to gain some energy, Braised Abalone is amazing for that too. When consumed, it will provide at least 2,500 energy, which is enough to completely fill your energy bar with blue energy regardless of your player level.

You may also see Braised Abalone come up as a requested gift, or as a meal in Chez Remy, so it’s a good idea to have the recipe on hand. If you want to use Braised Abalone as a decoration, you can drop it from your inventory and then move it in the Furniture menu.
