How to leave a guild in Cookie Run Kingdom

It's time for a new chapter in your (guild) life.

Guilds in Cookie Run: Kingdom are great for gaining new cookies and treasures through its gacha system, fighting bosses for valuable rewards, and chatting with fellow community members. However, with thousands of guilds to join, you may eventually want to leave your current one in hopes of finding a more active group or creating your own.

Below are the exact steps to leaving your guild in Cookie Run Kingdom:

  1. Tap on your guild’s banner in the top-left corner of your screen to head into its main menu.
  2. Tap the banner again to ring up the Guild Info menu.
  3. Press “Leave” and confirm your selection to leave your guild.

Once you leave a guild, you’ll have to wait 24 hours to join or create another and wait seven days to rejoin the guild if you change your mind later. You’ll also lose all your activity points and the opportunity to claim your Guild Battle reward, so make sure to complete everything you need to beforehand.

Leaving your guild as a Guild Leader is slightly more challenging, as you’ll first have to transfer ownership to another member before leaving. In some cases, you might have to kick everyone out of the guild before leaving, but you’ll only have to do this if giving ownership to someone else is impossible.

If you want to create your own guild, you can do so by entering the main Guild menu and tapping Create. Doing this brings up the Guild Creation menu, allowing you to input your guild name, description, and entry requirements. From here, you’ll need to pay a 500 crystal fee to make the guild.

Be careful if you recently left a guild, though. You’ll have to wait 24 hours to create a guild after leaving one, so be prepared to become a lone wolf temporarily.

Once you create your guild, you’ll have free reign to customize it however you wish. You can also set it so your guild is invite-only or have it open for any player to join. Your choices from here are entirely up to you.
